Sump Pump Failure Causes Flood In Basement

The saying goes "April showers bring May flowers", except in this homeowner's case April showers brought flooding in their basement.

One rainy night, the sump pump in this home couldn't keep up with the April showers, causing it to back up and flood their entire finished basement.

Our SERVPRO Team was called to the site and started the mitigation process immediately, hoping to save of the affected contents.

Unfortunately the carpet in this basement was unable to be saved due to the extensive amount of water damage. It all worked out in the end since the homeowner was able to replace the carpet with new hardwood floors. Look how beautiful!
